The quality charter 

SEG’s quality policy is part of a continuous search with a view to satisfying customer needs in optimum economic conditions.

For SEG staff  the attainment of  both our quality and productivity objectives means the sharing of strong common values, symbolised by the PLRR programme, namely:

Productivity: Improving performance, profitability and competitiveness

  • Objectives: to eliminate defects, reduce costs, increase profitability, learn from experience.
  • Indicators: turnover, gross margin, scrap rates, the cost of non-quality, supplier quality rates, etc.

Listening to customers: Being familiar with and anticipating customer needs

  • Objectives: being available, giving advice, anticipating and satisfying the need, flexibility, adaptabilty, responsiveness.
  • Indicators: customer satisfaction rates, responsiveness in the case of non-conformity, number of customer complaints, etc.

Research: Innovate and develop strategic advantages over our competition

  • Objectives: innovation, anticipation of needs, being technologically aware, optimising our presence in the market.
  • Indicators: R&D potential, rate of innovation, R&D effectiveness.

Reliability: Controlling our products and our processes 

  • Objectives: reduction in remedial actions, optimisation of the preventive maintenance programme, checking of inspection equipment.
  • Indicators: breakdown rate, number of inspections, number of calibrations carried out, rate of carrying out preventive maintenance.

This continuous improvement policy for the effectiveness of the quality management system must allow the company to: 

  • Trespond to customer request.
  • By increasing its competitiveness and to have an advantage over its competitors.
This starts with the detection of discrepancies at the earliest possible moment and with good information to avoid their recurrence.
